JOB BRIEF:

We are looking for a highly qualified Legal Counsel to oversee the legal aspects of our business. You will safeguard our reputation by guaranteeing that the company strictly follows law guidelines and give legal advice to management about all relevant issues.

The successful candidate will effectively ensure legal conformity and minimize probability of exposure.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (Tele Health, Healthcare(IMC) IT, Software, Telecom and Call Centre services, finance etc.)

  2. Drafting and reviewing simple and complex contracts as per the business requirements (Memorandum of Understanding, Master Service Agreements, Statement of Work, Non Discloser Agreement, Addendums & Amendments, Service Agreements, License Agreements, Franchise Agreements, Lease Deeds, International Contracts etc).

  3. Communicate and negotiate with both internal(Apollo Internal) & external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.) creating relations of trust and relationship.

  4. Summarizing and sharing the effective communication on all the negotiations and discussion to management.

  5. Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the companys full legal rights.

  6. Responsible from start to end legal contract, negotiations and filling and maintenance of documents.

  7. Should be updated in all governance policies and regularly monitor compliance, medical laws (Licenses, Certifications, Clinical Establishments, Bio medical wate, Imports, Exports, Trademarks, and all applicable medico legal compliances (both national and international).

  8. Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.

  9. Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues.

  10. Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces

  11. Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.

  12. Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility

  13. Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation.

  14. Preparing and maintaining the regular MIS data on Legal Work flows and Agreements.

  15. Organizing, Filling and maintaining the all Agreements and certificate and centralizing the documents at Head office.

  16. Keeping up with current changes on all relevant areas of laws and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the company's legal function.

BASIC QUALIFICATION :

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Law with strong academic credentials.

  2. 4+ years of legal experience as inhouse counsel, Corporate laws & Healthcare (Legal)  Strong legal experience in corporate and commercial matters.

  3. Experience on managing external legal counsels.

  4. Solid knowledge of general business law issues of an independent power producer, including

  5. Strong written and oral communication skills in legal drafting & basic English communications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Master of Laws or L.L.M.

  2. Mix of professional qualification as Company Secretary (Inter level).

  3. Litigation skills to handle administrative procedures within public authorities, Arbitration Tribunals and court litigation matters.

  4. Experience under Healthcare –  Licenses, Certifications, litigations, judiciary, & Govt Tender Documents.

Relevant knowledge and exposure under Telehealth guidelines, imports, exports and healthcare service, e- commerce services, patient data protections, TRIA.
