Role & responsibilities

  • As a Executive - Legal, your day will involve a variety of tasks aimed at supporting the organization's legal functions. Here's what a typical day might look like:

  • Document Review and Drafting:

  • Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents to ensure they comply with applicable laws and align with the organization's policies.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information for document preparation.

  • Legal Research:

  • Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents to support ongoing projects and provide informed legal advice.

  • Stay updated on changes in legislation that may impact the organization.

  • Compliance Monitoring:

  • Assist in monitoring the organization's compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Prepare reports on compliance status and suggest necessary actions to address any issues.

  • Meetings and Consultations:

  • Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss legal aspects of ongoing projects and initiatives.

  • Provide legal support to various departments as needed.

  • This role requires effective time management, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. By engaging in these activities, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the organization's legal compliance and supporting its strategic objectives.

  • Other Supporting Functions : Preparing monthly/other reports/minutes of the meetings, arranging meetings, template creation/up-dation
  • Litigation Support and any other responsibility as required

Preferred candidate profile

Your Key Knowledge Areas shall be:-

  • Attention to detail and strong understanding of legal provisions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • IT Skills - Minimum MS Office, Powerpoint and familiarity with online legal research platforms such as Manupatra, SCC Online and other such legal tools.

Education Qualifications :

  • LLB Graduate, LLM is preferable

Experience :

  • Should have 6+ years of experience
  • Preferred Industry experience: staffing and recruitment, law firms or any service industry
