Job Summary:
We are seeking a Performance Testing Specialist with expertise in Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of applications. This role requires a strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, UFT capabilities, and scripting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performance Test Design:
Develop and design performance test plans, scenarios, and scripts using UFT. - Test Execution:
Execute performance tests to evaluate application behavior under various load conditions. - Scripting:
Create and maintain automated test scripts using UFT and other relevant tools. - Monitoring and Analysis:
Monitor system performance during tests and analyze results to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement. - Troubleshooting:
Investigate and resolve performance issues, collaborating with development and infrastructure teams. - Documentation:
Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, scripts, and reports. - Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with performance goals. - Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on UFT enhancements and industry best practices to improve testing processes.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Experience:
6-8 years of experience in performance testing, with hands-on expertise in UFT. - Technical Skills:
Proficiency in UFT for performance and functional testing.
Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., VBScript, JavaScript, or Python).
Familiarity with monitoring tools and frameworks (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
Knowledge of SQL and database systems.
