As a Qualcomm Software Test Engineer, you will design, develop, create, and modify test cases and validate embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, application software, automation, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Software Test Engineers collaborate across various engineering teams and functions to design and implement test plans.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Requirement details:Exp: 1 to 3 yrTittle: EngineerLocation: HYDImp Note: Candidates currently engaged with Qualcomm through a third-party vendor are not eligible to apply for this role.Typical duties and responsibilities:Exposure to Linux Android environment and involve in test automation using Python / Perl/ shell scriptingManual and automated testing on SoCsExposure to Performance, Sanity or Stability testingCreate test automation frameworks in collaboration with team membersAI /ML basedTest methodologiesCross team collaboration with engineer across board and enhance the test plansShould be able to test & automate embedded devices ( preferably Mobile/IoT/Auto )Required skills and qualifications:Strong scripting skills in Python, Perl, or a related languageLinux OS fundamentalsand understanding of Linux kernel, boot process, memory management, process management etc. and exposure to Linux CLI.Knowledge of automation technologies and testing on QCOM SOCs is a plusExcellent communication and documentation skills
