Job Description:Education Qualification :Any Graduate (Engineering / Science) Skills :Primary -> Technology | Unix and Linux (RHEL, Centos, Ubuntu, OEL) | 2 - KnowledgeablePrimary -> Technology | AS400 | 1 - Aware Certification :Technology | Unix Administration Delivery Skills :Proactive monitoring and investigation of logs: Initiate Unix and Linux, AS 400 administration, troubleshooting, investigate to identify the possible issues, locate the device/service causing the issue. Record the findings and analysis in to the ticketRestoration and Resolution: Identify the issue and actions required for resolving the issue. Refer to KEDB for known issues/repetitive issues and resolution steps. Update ticket with steps taken and outcomeTriage: Once the resolution steps are completed if the issue is still not resolved escalate the ticket to L3 SME. If there is a bridge, continue on the bridge along with the SME. This support includes coordination with 3rd party vendor technicians.Process Compliance: Gather information from vendor, customer, analysis from the troubleshooting/investigation, resolution steps implemented etc. and update the tickets regularly, as per the defined process.Prepare a detailed report on the plan of action for the existing tickets for the next shift and nbsp; engineer (Shift Handover Report),Followthrough andexecute the various Escalation Matrix (Vendor , Internal and Customer defined)Ensure tickets are closed post user/customer communicationMaintain inventory of Network equipments and linksConstantly track tickets for SLA adherence and escalate on deviations as defined in the processUnix and Linux (RHEL, Centos, Ubuntu, OEL) Navigate file system and perform basic file operations with supervisionEdit files using basic text editors (vi/nano) with guidanceView and understand basic system information and logsPerform basic user account operations with supervisionExecute basic process management commands with guidanceAS400 Understand AS400/IBM i system architecture and conceptsRecognize AS400 naming conventions and library conceptsUnderstand basic AS400 command line interface and menusIdentify AS400 job concepts and subsystem basicsRecognize AS400 security concepts and user profilesLocation:India - BengaluruCreated On:21-Aug-2025
