Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Unix Specialist located in Bengaluru. The Unix Specialist will be responsible for managing Unix systems, performing system administration tasks, ensuring system security, and troubleshooting. They will also be required to optimize system performance, automate routine tasks, and provide support for various Unix-based applications and services.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and system administration
  • Experience in scripting and automation (e.g., Shell scripting, Python)
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Understanding of network protocols and configurations
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
