Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Commis Chef to join our culinary team. The Commis Chef will assist in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations under the supervision of senior chefs. This is an ideal role for someone at the beginning of their culinary career who wants to learn and grow in a professional kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food in line with company standards.
- Follow recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff.
- Ensure kitchen stations are clean, organized, and prepared for service.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Comply with food safety and health regulations.
- Store food appropriately and monitor stock levels.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and quality service.
- Support the team with dishwashing and basic kitchen duties when required.
- Learn and develop skills under the guidance of senior chefs.
