Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will drive the expansion of our solar rooftop solutions by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and closing deals with residential, commercial, and industrial clients. If you are passionate about green energy and have a knack for forging strong client relationships, this is your chance to contribute to India's sustainable future while achieving ambitious sales targets.

  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and target potential clients in residential, commercial, and industrial segments through market research, networking events, and digital outreach.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders, conducting needs assessments and presenting customized solar rooftop solutions.
  • Sales and Deal Closure: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets, negotiating contracts, and ensuring smooth project handovers to installation teams.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, government subsidies (e.g., PM Surya Ghar scheme), and competitor activities to position Eltron Energy as the preferred solar partner.
  • Partnership Development: Collaborate with architects, builders, EPC firms, and financial institutions to create referral networks and co-marketing opportunities.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Track sales performance using CRM tools, prepare reports on pipeline health, and provide insights to improve business development processes.
  • On-Site Support: Occasionally visit client sites in Bangalore and surrounding areas to demonstrate solar installations and address queries.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of proven experience in business development or sales, ideally in the renewable energy, solar, or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of solar rooftop systems, subsidies, and ROI calculations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and basic data analysis tools.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel locally as needed.
  • Knowledge of Kannada and Hindi is a plus.
