Key Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping and Data Entry: Record financial transactions, maintain journals, and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor payments, and track outstanding customer balances.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies to ensure account accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting Assistance: Assist senior accountants in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger and ensure all account balances are correct.
  • Payroll Processing: Help with the administration of monthly payroll and related tasks.
  • Audit Assistance: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and data.
  • Compliance: Stay informed on financial regulations and ensure company policies are followed.
  • Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is typically required.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for ensuring accuracy in financial records.
  • Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and solve problems is key.
  • Organizational & Time Management: Excellent organizational skills are needed to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with colleagues.
  • Confidentiality: The ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion is a must.
