Sales Head – Food & Beverages Division

Location: Mumbai, India

Salary Range: ₹1,50,000 – ₹2,50,000 per month (Negotiable for the right candidate)

Seamless Speciality Group of Companies – Food & Beverages Division – is a fast-growing organization engaged in the trading and supply of grains such as rice and maize, and in the production of beverages. The company is scaling operations pan-India to serve distilleries and allied industries, focusing on quality, efficiency, and growth through strategic business partnerships.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Sales Head to spearhead our national sales and business development initiatives. The ideal candidate should be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the distillery or agri-commodity sector, possessing deep market knowledge and a strong network of buyers, traders, and corporate clients. This role demands a strategic thinker with a hands-on leadership approach capable of driving revenue growth and building lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, and oversee all sales operations across India to achieve business targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market presence and profitability.
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team for peak performance.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with distilleries, traders, and key corporate clients.
  • Oversee client acquisition, contract negotiations, and account retention.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement and logistics departments to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor movements, and customer preferences to shape business strategy.
  • Maintain an extensive buyer and distributor database across India.
  • Drive marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and business meetings.
  • Ensure timely reporting, data accuracy, and target tracking within the sales team.
  • Partner with senior management and the CEO to align strategies with long-term company objectives.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 15–20 years of experience in sales or business development within distilleries, ethanol, FMCG, or grain-based industries.
  • Proven expertise in handling national-level sales operations and large teams.
  • Strong understanding of commodity sales, distillery operations, and ethanol market trends.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Must be self-driven, organized, and capable of performing under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in preparing MIS reports, forecasts, and actionable sales insights.
