Job Description

Supply Chain Manager- Outbound

Primary Location: Mumbai

My Eco Energy - Supply Chain Management & Operations 

About You: 

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for end to end Coordination of daily operations, Coordinates with third party relationships with Logistics suppliers and other members of the supply chain Communicate and coordinate with all the vendors Shipping companies, carriers, CFAs, transporters, clearing agents and other government departments for ensuring zero bottlenecks in the supply chain. Coordinate Logistics/distribution, depot & freight management, Liaison with logistic companies. Must have efficient interaction with other departments He/She must Ensure support of most reliable delivery system and compliance with statutory requirements. To maintain necessary transport bills, challans, tax statements and all other statutory documents in an efficient manner. To keep track so as to ensure that there is no stock out situation at the distributors warehouse by regularly monitoring stock levels.

Assist to keep proactive track & trace of movement of spirits in order to manage maximum efficiency & optimum stock inventory and timely delivery of goods. Ensuring compliance to statutory & safety regulations for storage and transportation

Key Responsibilities :- 

Supply Chain Expert 

Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of function beyond own specialty and implements the expertise whenever required.

In-depth knowledge of biofuel/edible oil industry and related industries and its supply chain operations.

Seen as expert in own area both internally and externally; have well developed external network.

Executes supply chain policies and programs to the organizations mission & service outcomes, service deadlines etc.

Cost Consciousness 

Implements all strategies that are achievable, cost-effective, and address organizational goals

Implements procedures that are cost effective and does long term planning for cost consciousness related to inbound logistics. 

Implements scientific methodologies for efficiency in costing, efficiency in operations etc.

Understands the change impact of policies and procedures to people, department, the System and external entities 

Vendor Management 

Creates, maintains cordial relations with all vendors, suppliers of services and material.

Is instrumental in ensuring meeting deadline, crisis management.

Ensures trouble shooting at any bottleneck during the supply chain process. 

Ensures all legal and statutory requirements are met and adherence by the vendors to agreements.

Organizational Communications and networking

Collaborates across internal and external agency boundaries to meet common objectives.

Participates in cross-functional activities to achieve organizational objectives.

Ensures that important information from management is shared with employees and others as appropriate.

Ensures that regular, consistent, transparent communication takes place within area of responsibility.

Works with employees to set and communicate performance standards that are specific and measurable.

Proactively seeks performance feedback and makes effort to develop own and others performance and learning

Encourages team to share knowledge and learn from each other

Education :- 

Preferably a Diploma in Production/ Mechanical + Diploma in SCM with experience preferably in biofuel or edible oil industry. 

Fundamental Skills :- 

Coordinate daily operations

Coordinates third party relationships with Logistics suppliers and other members of the supply chain

Qualifications

3-5 years experience in handling logistics with exposure preferably in biofuel or edible oil industry.
