The DGM Finance will be responsible for managing the overall financial operations of the company with a strong focus on monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures, financial reporting, and compliance. The role requires deep expertise in accounting, costing, taxation, and statutory compliance, along with the ability to partner with business leaders to drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Book Closure

  • Lead and manage end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end book closure.
  • Oversee preparation of financial statements in compliance with Ind AS / IFRS.
  • Ensure reconciliation of accounts, provisions, and schedules.

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare MIS reports, financial dashboards, and variance analysis.
  • Provide insights on revenue, cost, and profitability trends.
  • Support management in strategic decision-making through financial analysis.

3. Costing & Manufacturing Finance

  • Oversee product costing, standard costing, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor manufacturing overheads and drive cost optimization initiatives.
  • Partner with operations for financial control at the plant level.

4. Taxation & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with direct and indirect taxes (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
  • Liaise with auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities.
  • Manage internal and statutory audits, ensuring proper documentation and control.

5. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

  • Manage working capital, banking operations, and fund flow requirements.
  • Ensure timely vendor payments and receivable collections.
  • Optimize cash utilization for business operations.

6. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounts professionals.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial discipline across the organization.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: MBA/ICWA/CA
  • Experience: 12–18 years in Finance & Accounts, with significant experience in book closure and financial reporting in the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle preferred).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
