About the Role

We are hiring an experienced AGM – IT / SAP Functional Manager to lead SAP operations across key modules — SAP FICO, SAP MM, and SAP PS.

This role ensures end-to-end functional governance, process optimization, and system reliability within the organization's SAP environment.

The position is based in Powai, Mumbai, and reports to the Head of IT.

It's an individual contributor role that collaborates closely with Finance, Procurement, and Project teams to align SAP solutions with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day SAP functional operations across FI/CO, MM, and PS modules.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and reporting accuracy through SAP enhancements.
• Support budgeting, project cost tracking, procurement workflows, and capitalization processes.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders to align SAP processes with operational needs.
• Manage AMS partners and ensure SLA adherence for support and issue resolution.
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA readiness, Fiori enablement, and BI dashboard integration.
• Ensure functional documentation, testing, and change management compliance.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Engineering, IT, or Finance.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP Functional roles with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.

• Proven expertise in:

• SAP FICO: Cost accounting, internal orders, profitability analysis.

• SAP MM: Procurement cycle, vendor management, GR/IR reconciliation.

• SAP PS: Project structuring, budgeting, settlement, and integration with finance.

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, and reporting tools preferred.

• Experience in real estate, infrastructure, or manufacturing industries is an advantage.
• Candidates from product-based companies preferred over service-based firms.
