**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**DEPARTMENT - **Moulding Department

**DESIGNATION - **Shift Engineer
- To take charge from previous shift in charge. Take a round on each machine and understand the feedback from last shift.
- To confirm daily operator availability with shift supervisor, understand the absenteeism and initiate the further action.
- Ensure all the employees are deputed on their work, ensure cleanliness of shop floor.
- To take review of DPR, analyse the rejection and down time.
- Ensure manpower deputed for WIP clearance WIP clearance work along with the quality person. Monitor the batch number, quantity, proper tagging in each bin.
- To understand the daily production plan and initiate actions accordingly.
- Ensure the cycle time and part weight as per standard of all machines. Also ensure the PDS available of all machines.
- Ensure the parameters set as per standard PDS only, if any deviation immediately do analysis and restore the standard.
- Ensure the process in place and effectiveness of movement of lumps and rejection to store area after counting.
- Monitor closely of the production processes and implement corrective actions to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
- Ensure DPR filling on hourly basis along with standard quality parameters, record the same.
- To do analysis of OEE report of all machines.
- To find out shortages of assembly or next processes to avoid down time and sale loss.
- To ensure all moulds are running with all cavities (full strength) to avoid production loss.
- To monitor mould change time and initiate actions to reduce the same.
- To work actively on Kaizen, cost saving, productivity improvement projects.
- Implement a response plan in the event of any abnormal or non-conforming issues and specify a course of action to be taken.
- Provide on Job Training to production operators, evaluate and maintain the training records with help of HR.
- Ensure work practices and work safety protocols are compiled at all times.
- Maintain good housekeeping within the workplace.
- Understand the suggestions on the machine parameter setting and operational instructions for further improvement.
- Monitor discipline amongst the team at respective shifts on the shop floor.
- To do engineer level one kaizen per person per month and monitor sustenance.

**QUALIFICATION**
- B.Tech/B.E. in Plastics.
- Electrical / Mechanical Diploma.

**EXPERIENCE**
- More than 5 years of experience in Injection Moulding.

**Salary**: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year

- Daman, Daman and Diu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
