**Menu Development**: Collaborate in designing and updating menus that showcase authentic East Asian flavors, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- **Kitchen Operations**: Oversee daily kitchen activities, ensuring efficiency and adherence to hygiene and safety standards (HACCP compliance).
- **Team Leadership**: Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and manage supplier relationships to ensure the availability of fresh ingredients.
- **Cost Control**: Analyze food costs, minimize waste, and assist in pricing strategies to maintain profitability.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant's standards for quality and presentation.
**Qualifications**
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 6-10 years of experience in professional kitchens, with a focus on East Asian cuisine.
- Proficiency in cooking techniques such as stir-frying, steaming, grilling, and wok handling.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
**Preferred Attributes**
- Experience in high-volume or fine-dining establishments.
- Creativity in developing new dishes and adapting traditional recipes.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
