**Job Title**: Purchase and Logistics Coordinator
**Department**: Supply Chain
**Reports To**: Supply Chain Manager
**Location**: Turbhe, Navi Mumbai

**Job Purpose**:
The Purchase and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing procurement, handling import logistics, and overseeing inventory to ensure timely delivery of materials and smooth manufacturing operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Procurement**: Source and negotiate with suppliers for the timely delivery of materials, and process purchase orders efficiently.
- **Logistics Coordination**: Oversee transportation, track shipments, and resolve any delivery issues. Handle import logistics, including customs clearance, documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor stock levels to ensure uninterrupted production and minimize excess inventory.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with internal teams (production, warehouse) to ensure smooth operations and timely supply of materials.
- **Reporting**: Provide regular updates on procurement, logistics, and import activities to management, including supplier performance and inventory status.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- **Experience**: 2-3 years of experience in procurement and logistics, ideally in a manufacturing environment, with experience in import logistics handling.

**Skills**:

- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in **SAP software** for procurement and logistics management.
- Advanced knowledge of **Microsoft Excel** (e.g. Vlookup, Pivot table etc).
- Knowledge of import/export documentation and customs procedures.
