Logistics Coordinator

**Managing the transportation and logistics operations efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the movement of raw materials, finished goods, and equipment within the supply chain, ensuring timely delivery, optimizing routes, managing fleet operations, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, external vendors, and transportation partners to streamline processes and enhance overall logistics performance.**
- **Logistics Management**:
Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics operations to ensure smooth flow of materials and products.

Monitor and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and improve delivery times.

Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and freight forwarders to schedule pickups and deliveries.

Track shipments and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transit times, and delivery schedules.
- **Fleet Management**:
Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the company's fleet of vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and other transportation equipment.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the reliability and safety of the fleet.

Manage driver schedules, routes, and assignments to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to vehicle registration, licensing, and safety standards.
- **Inventory Control**:
Collaborate with procurement and production teams to forecast inventory needs and plan replenishment activities.

Implement inventory management systems to track stock levels, monitor inventory movements, and prevent stockouts.

Conduct regular audits of warehouse facilities to verify inventory accuracy and identify opportunities for improvement.
- **Compliance and Risk Management**:
Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing transportation and logistics operations.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality standards in all logistics activities.

Identify and mitigate risks related to transportation delays, inventory shortages, and supply chain disruptions.
- **Continuous Improvement**:
Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.

Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve logistics-related issues.
- **Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in logistics management, fleet operations, or transportation coordination, preferably in the steel manufacturing industry.

Strong understanding of transportation regulations, safety standards, and supply chain principles.

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in logistics software systems, such as TMS (Transportation Management System) and WMS (Warehouse Management System).

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
