**EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:Minimum Diploma Engineering with civil / mechanical / Architectural **/ **QS

**_EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS_**_: _**Minimum 5 years experience in quantity surveying at carpentry & Joinery.

**SPECIAL SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES**:Able to read architectural drawing and have an appreciation of construction process along with excellent numerical & IT skills.

**COMPUTER PROFICIENCY**:MS Office & Auto Cad

JOB DECSRIPTION
- **Summary**:
Manage and cover a range of activities which related quantity surveying activities in Contracts and Production department.

TASKS AND RESONSIBILITIES
- Quantity surveying:
1. Review of the Specifications and Drawings of the project

2. Take off quantity from drawings, and prepare quantity schedule (iteM/Floor wise)

3. Assist in Preparation of subcontractor contract documents (BOQ + drawings + specs) for original scope of works and variations

4. Assist in Preparation of subcontractor comparison sheets

5. Assist in tender preparation.

6. Assist to prepare certificate of payment for selected suppliers and subcontractors

7. Assist in unit rate analysis

8. Assist to prepare Invoice for the project based on the BOQ

9. Check on and track changes of design to prepare the comparison for the variations

10. Assist in preparing of valuation of completed works.

11. Create data base of material from supplier and contractor.

12. Responsible for a site survey if necessary.

13. Creating accurate Zero budget and production budget.

14. Responsible for status / updating of material / pricing on common regular items

15. Coordinating with planning engineer for job costing

16. Ensure that customer requirements are correctly interpreted and reflected in the cost proposal submission.

17. Ensure that the order received is in compliance with cost proposal submission and there is no ambiguity.

Production:
1. Assist to production manager for budget and cost structure for manufacturing.

2. Assist for value engineering.

3. Provide material planning in coordination with storekeeper and monitoring receipt in line with project forecast.

4. Preparing production schedule/plan with man power allocation for the each project

5. Preparing weekly reports of cost & budget according to actual production & site execution status.

Maintain manufacturing information and analyzing production performance by cost and productivity benchmarking.
