About the Role

We're looking for a passionate Formulation Scientist who blends scientific rigor with innovation to create cutting-edge gut-focused nutraceuticals. You’ll work at the intersection of modern science, Ayurveda, and consumer wellness, helping us launch clinically effective and scalable products under **Guttify** and **Lifechart**.

**Key Responsibilities**

Formulate innovative nutraceutical blends (capsules, powders, liquids, gummies) for gut health, skin health, immunity, and metabolic wellness

Conduct scientific literature reviews and stay updated on functional ingredients, probiotics, adaptogens, and bioactives

Evaluate suppliers and ingredients for quality, compliance, and clinical substantiation

Design and manage stability studies, bioavailability trials, and product shelf-life testing

Ensure regulatory compliance (FSSAI, Ayush, US FDA if exporting)

Collaborate with marketing, operations, and R&D to ensure go-to-market readiness

Maintain accurate documentation, tech specs, and SOPs

Assist with clinical study design and product claim substantiation

**Requirements**:
M.Pharm / M.Sc in Pharmaceutics, Food Technology, Biochemistry, or related field

3+ years of hands-on experience in nutraceutical or functional food formulation

Strong understanding of Ayurvedic + modern bioactive ingredients

Knowledge of FSSAI, Ayush, GMP, and other regulatory frameworks

Creative problem-solver with a bias for innovation and scientific credibility

Bonus: Experience with gut microbiome-focused formulations or prebiotic/probiotic delivery systems
