2d Visual Designer

**Role Overview**:
As a 2D Visual Designer at Ortmor, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, illustrating, and delivering high-quality visuals that support immersive, interactive, and experiential projects. You will work closely with creative directors, animators, and technologists to bring ideas to life through sketches, storyboards, and polished illustrations for animations.

This role requires a balance of artistic skills, creative thinking, storytelling ability, and a foundational understanding of emerging technologies like AR, VR, holograms, and immersive experiences.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create **high-quality illustrations** to be used in animations, interactive content, and experiential installations.
- Develop **creative concepts and ideas** based on client briefs, project requirements, and brand guidelines.
- **Sketch and visualize concepts** into compelling presentations that communicate the creative vision effectively.
- Build **storyboards** from scripts, with a strong sense of narrative flow, pacing, and visual storytelling.
- Incorporate **dynamic camera angles** and perspectives to enhance storytelling impact within storyboards.
- **Slice and prepare illustrations** for the animation team, ensuring files are organized, production-ready, and optimized.
- Collaborate with the animation team, project managers, and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay updated with **industry trends, tools, and techniques** to ensure work remains fresh, innovative, and competitive.
- Proactively **leverage AI tools** and explore new AI-assisted workflows to improve creative productivity and output.
- Understand the basics of **AR, VR, holograms, interactive and immersive technologies**—not requiring deep technical knowledge but enough to conceptualize relevant creative solutions.
- Present ideas and concepts to internal stakeholders or clients when needed (presentation skills are a plus).
- **Manage time efficiently**, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Support **team collaboration and coordination**, maintaining a positive, adaptable, and problem-solving attitude.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality **illustration, concept art, and storyboarding** skills.
- Excellent sense of **composition, color, lighting, and visual storytelling**.
- Good understanding of **camera angles, movement, and dynamic visual sequences**. - Proficiency in **Adobe Creative Suite** (Photoshop, Illustrator) and other relevant 2D design tools.
- Knowledge or willingness to quickly learn **AI tools for creative enhancement** (e.g., image generation, concepting).
- Open-minded and adaptive to **AI-integrated workflows** in a forward-thinking creative environment.
- Ability to grasp and work with **emerging technologies** like AR, VR, holograms (without needing coding or deep technical expertise).
- Excellent **English communication skills** (written and verbal).
- Strong **time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities**.
- A team player with good **collaboration and coordination skills** across departments.

**Nice to Have**:

- Presentation and pitching skills to communicate ideas directly to clients.
- Previous experience in experiential marketing, AR/VR content creation, or creative tech projects.

Pay: ₹53,384.84 - ₹75,607.28 per month
