**Job Summary**
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused L1 Support service desk to join our IT Helpdesk team. The service desk will serve as the first point of contact for technical support inquiries, providing basic troubleshooting, logging incidents, and escalating complex issues. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality IT support and maintaining customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Accurately categorize, prioritize, and assign tickets based on predefined workflows.
- Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Identify unresolved issues and escalate them to L2/L3 support teams as per the escalation matrix.
- Communicate escalated incidents effectively to ensure timely resolution.
- Keep users informed about ticket status and resolution timelines.
- Provide clear and concise guidance to non-technical users
- Contribute to the development of a knowledge base by documenting common issues and solutions.
- Use the knowledge base to provide users with self-service solutions.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs by resolving tickets within agreed timelines.
- Highlight potential SLA breaches to the Team Lead for corrective action.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**
**Educational Background**: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
**Technical Skills**:
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common IT systems.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk or similar).
- Understanding of ITIL principles is a plus.
**Soft Skills**:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality support.
**Experience**:
- 2-3 years of experience in an IT support or customer service role.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
