**Job Title**: Milk Processing Operator

**Job Summary**:
The Milk Processing Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining milk processing equipment to ensure high-quality milk products are produced efficiently and safely. This role involves monitoring equipment, adhering to quality and safety standards, and performing routine maintenance to keep the milk processing line running smoothly. The operator must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and company protocols to meet production goals and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Equipment Operation**:

- Operate, monitor, and adjust milk processing equipment, including pasteurizers, separators, homogenizers, and other machinery.
- Ensure milk processing meets quality and safety standards, making adjustments as needed.
- Monitor temperatures, pressures, and flow rates, and perform regular quality checks.
- **Quality Control**:

- Perform product sampling and testing to ensure consistency and compliance with product specifications.
- Monitor cleanliness and sterility of processing equipment to prevent contamination.
- Record test results, document deviations, and report any issues to the quality control team or supervisor.
- **Cleaning and Sanitation**:

- Perform cleaning-in-place (CIP) and cleaning-out-of-place (COP) procedures on all equipment, following sanitation guidelines.
- Ensure the processing area meets sanitation standards and is free of contaminants.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Follow all health and safety regulations, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Adhere to food safety guidelines, HACCP, GMPs, and other regulatory requirements.
- Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or deviations from standard operating procedures immediately.
- **Maintenance**:

- Conduct routine maintenance on processing equipment and report any issues that require repair.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, following established protocols.
- **Documentation and Record-Keeping**:

- Accurately document all production activities, including quantities processed, quality checks, maintenance, and cleaning activities.
- Ensure logs are complete and up-to-date for audit purposes.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training in dairy science, food science, or a related field is a plus.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a dairy or food processing plant is preferred.

**Skills**:

- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
