Unilever Operations (UniOps) is a global business unit that entails the company’s shared business services, and consists of Employee Experience, Commercial Experience, Finance & Procurement Operations, Information & Analytics, IT services, Information Management Services Supply Services & Enterprise Operations.

- End-to-end process guidance and ownership of the employee life cycle.
- Effective people policies through standardisation, simplification, process harmonisation & scale leverage.
- Collaborate with leaders to carve out a hiring strategy and create a high-performance culture by creating and implementing team and organizational design solutions.
- Build and set-up HR technology to streamline and simplify internal process and to deliver experiences for our employees.
- Thorough knowledge of people policies across Unilever India, process flow understanding involved in various stages of employee life cycle to provide utmost guidance
- Lead People and Capability Development to ensure the organization is always fit to compete in the marketplace
- Working with HRBPs of the businesses - to support execution of the FTE management, Onboarding, Offboarding, drive Career & Learning agenda, Performance Management, Moves, Attrition, International Assignment, Employee Engagement for India based employees (WL1s and WL2s)
- Facilitate Performance agenda and talent discussions for promotions, successions by driving DPFs for WL1s and WL2s
- Operational user knowledge of tools such as workday, power BI dashboard and knowledge on Sales force creation for the People ops team for ensuring payroll interface
- Being the first point of contact and provide operational support for all people topics in the service lines assigned
- Responsible for handling employee matters at first level related to grievances or COBP conflicts in line with Unilever compliance
Main Accountabilities
- Manage operational matters of business service line
- Day to day engagement with managers, employees, HRBPs and South Asia Ops hub
- Delivering value to business in conjunction with the people strategy agenda
- Support stakeholders in professional manner ensuring that appropriate guidance is provided as well as issues are identified and resolved
