**Job Description: Local Field Associate - OTS Settlement & NPA/AUCA Recovery in Rural Areas**

**1. Position Overview**:
The **Local Field Associate** will be responsible for assisting banks in **One-Time Settlement (OTS) processes** and **NPA (Non-Performing Assets) / AUCA (Advance Under Collection Account) recovery** in rural areas. The role requires direct engagement with borrowers, coordination with bank officials, and field-level execution of recovery strategies to ensure effective settlement and collection of dues.

**2. Key Responsibilities**:
**A. OTS Settlement Assistance**:
Identify and approach borrowers eligible for **OTS schemes**.

Educate borrowers about the **OTS process, benefits, and compliance**.

Assist borrowers in completing the required documentation.

Coordinate with bank officials for OTS proposal approval and processing.

Follow up on payments and ensure timely completion of settlements.

**B. NPA & AUCA Recovery Assistance**:
Conduct field visits to **defaulting borrowers’ locations**.

Communicate with borrowers regarding pending dues and negotiate repayment plans.

Serve bank notices and assist in initiating legal recovery proceedings.

Support bank officials in SARFAESI Act-based recoveries.

Maintain records of interactions and update bank officials on progress.

**C. Rural Outreach & Relationship Management**:
Build relationships with local communities to facilitate smoother recoveries.

Engage with local influencers, government bodies, and legal advisors for assistance in recovery.

Act as a liaison between the bank and borrowers to reduce conflicts.

Educate rural borrowers about financial literacy and responsible credit management.

**D. Reporting & Compliance**:
Maintain daily reports on borrower interactions, recovery progress, and pending cases.

Ensure compliance with banking and RBI guidelines in all recovery operations.

Submit periodic performance reports to the bank’s recovery team.

Assist in legal documentation and representation for critical cases.

**3. Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: Minimum **10th Pass**
- **Experience**: 1-3 years in Debt recovery (preferred).
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication in **local language & Hindi/English**.
- **Mobility**: Must be willing to travel extensively within assigned rural areas.
- **Knowledge**: Understanding of **SARFAESI Act, RBI recovery guidelines, and banking processes**.
- **Negotiation Skills**: Ability to handle tough borrowers and negotiate settlements effectively.
- **Technology**: Basic knowledge of **MS Office, CRM tools, and digital banking platforms**.

**4. Compensation & Incentives**:
**Salary Structure**:

- Fixed salary + Performance-based incentives.

Or
- Revenue Sharing basis

**Incentives**:

- % of successful OTS settlements.
- Bonus on achieving NPA recovery targets.
- Travel allowance for field visits.

**5. Work Environment & Reporting**:

- **Reporting To**: Regional Recovery Officer / Bank Branch Manager.
- **Work Location**: Assigned **rural district or cluster of villages**.
- **Work Timings**: Flexible, based on field assignments and borrower availability.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
