**Your key responsibilities**
- Design, configuration, and implementation of the Workday payroll module.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to discern business needs and translate them into effective Workday configurations and enhancements within the payroll domain.
- Provide ongoing support to internal users by addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and resolving them promptly.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality and accuracy of the configured Workday Payroll system.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders during user acceptance testing (UAT) to address feedback and ensure a seamless implementation.
- Conduct training sessions for internal users on the usage and functionality of the Workday Payroll system.
- Create and maintain training materials and documentation for continual reference.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity, compliance, and optimal performance within payroll processes.
- Stay abreast of Workday updates, trends, and best practices to recommend innovative Payroll solutions.
**Your skills and experience that will help you excel**
- Workday Payroll Certification (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2-5 years of progressive experience working with Workday, focusing specifically on Payroll implementation and support.
- Strong understanding of Workday Payroll and its interdependencies with Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, and other cross-functional capabilities.
- Experience with Payroll regulatory requirements (Tax, Garnishments, Common Pay Master), retirement benefits (401K, etc.), payroll processing, FLSA, Unions/Collective Bargaining Agreements, and payroll accounting.
- Knowledge of payroll checklists, earnings and deductions, pay groups, general ledger, costing allocations, payroll reports, audit alerts, approval processes, and security rules (required).
- Experience in PECI/PICOF.
- In-depth understanding of Workday Payroll processes, configurations, and optimizations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
