Introduction:

- To build and develop systems using Essbase, SAS and VBA expertise to deliver a world class, fully integrated, financial reporting, planning and analysis capability across USCB Finance

What will you be doing?
- CFO Financial Data Management
- Develop and operate processes to deliver MIS for regulatory reporting purposes.
- Engage with bank leadership team and work with stakeholders across the bank to identify and prioritize additional regulatory related MIS capability
- Setting the operational goals and direction for monthly segment level financials processes.
- Create and provide relevant artefacts to manage process in a controlled and governed manner.
- Provide coaching and institutional knowledge to all stakeholders to ensure that all relevant information is understood and explainable
- CFO Regulatory Process Improvement
- Work closely with CFO MI team and other MI stakeholders across the bank to assist with successful implementation of regulatory information requests, to include testing and data verification.
- Modify current work process to optimize capabilities and improve efficiency to support on-going analysis.
- Provides and maintains all database documentation including business requirements, work flows, standard procedures, and user guides.
- Perform special projects as directed by management
- Other ad-hoc as required

What we’re looking for:

- Business knowledge:

- Experience in production MI or development, preferably in banking
- Knowledge of banking industry
- Understanding of Finance MI tools & architecture
- Technical knowledge:

- Knowledge of SAS/SQL (familiarity with Oracle advantageous) is desirable.
- Extremely proficient with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) particularly across the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Skills & Competencies:

- Highly motivated self-starter

- Very good communication skills, written and interpersonal, and the ability to maintain effective working relationships

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Graduate or Post Graduate in Technology / Engineering
- Good understanding of finance and accounting
- Proficiency in visualisation, scoping and design of a diverse range of data needs.
