**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Sales Generation**: Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities in the residential, commercial, or industrial sectors.
- **Client Consultation**: Conduct on-site or virtual consultations to assess energy needs and recommend solar solutions.
- **Sales Presentations**: Deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, explaining the benefits of solar energy, product offerings, and financial incentives.
- **Proposal Development**: Create custom quotes, system designs, and proposals tailored to client requirements and budget.
- **Contract Negotiation**: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to close deals while maintaining profitability.
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through excellent communication and follow-up.
- **Market Research**: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and government incentives to provide the best solutions to clients.
- **Sales Reporting**: Maintain accurate sales records and forecast revenue to meet or exceed targets.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the project management and installation teams to ensure timely project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- **Networking & Events**: Represent the company at trade shows, local events, and conferences to expand the customer base.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, products, and financial models (e.g., solar incentives, tax credits, and financing options).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and basic design tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Previous experience in energy or technology sales.
- Knowledge of local government incentives and rebates for solar energy systems.
- Experience with energy auditing or system design.
