**Role : Bids & Proposals Writer - US SnL Division**

**Location : Sohna Road, CD Chowk, Sector 49, Gurgaon, Haryana**

**Work Environment : 100% WFO (in person), 5 days a week (Mon-Fri) from 11 am - 8 pm IST**

**About the Role**:
Our Division’s key clients comprise some of the biggest US State & Local entities and many of the 3k+ counties

We are looking for an eloquent, persuasive proposal writer to join our team in creating proposals. The proposal writer's responsibilities include gathering information, formatting the information according to the company's policies, obtaining supervisor approval, and sending the proposal to the appropriate source.

To be successful as a proposal writer, you should be articulate, have excellent written communication skills, and be able to work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines. Ultimately, a top-notch proposal writer should be consistent, detail-oriented, and able to write in a factual, convincing manner.

**Key Responsibilities (What you'll be expected to do)**:
Participate in various stages of Bids & Proposal management by supporting research, preparing collaterals.

Assist our existing RFP Proposal Engine team in various aspects of submitting bids to end-clients in the US.

Strong Research capabilities to sort out & soft through voluminous data, in order to identify the next best opportunity to bid for. Researching, writing, and organizing information in a professional and credible manner.

Supporting RFP process end-to-end across the lifecycle, from selection till submission in various client portals.

Collecting & categorizing organizational capabilities, testimonials, awards, USPs, etc. - to plug in to any specific RFP, when required.

Write proposal content, including technical sections, management and staffing sections, resumes, and executive summaries. Editing and revising proposals according to feedback.

Maintaining consistency in proposal writing by following company policies.

Working with the design team to create graphics and visuals for projects.

Review and analyze RFP questions/ presentations (pitchbooks) to determine key project requirements.

You will join a tight knit group of key contributors who are actively working together to achieve aggressive goals and meet timelines to drive the business forward. Prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines.

Liaises with executive leadership and sales professionals throughout the process, ensuring clear communication. Attending meetings and identifying opportunities for proposal writing.

Strive for excellence in meeting and exceeding objectives as it relates to Performance, Productivity, Efficiency, and Quality standards. Giving presentations to the executive board.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a lead writer on technical proposals for State and Local governments.
- Familiarity with US States, Local counties, govt. bodies, etc. & the various employment opportunities posted;
- Proven technical writing skills and track record of creating compelling, clear, concise and succinct documents.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, effortless soft-skills & people handling interpersonal skills;
- Clear & thorough understanding of how to filter through copious amounts of data, perform insightful analytics;
- Great interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
- Self-motivated, good communicator, eloquent - willing to work in a knowledge management related domain;
- Strong organizational skills: The ability to multi-task, set priorities and work well under pressure;
- Excellent computer skills & attention to detail. Good strategic planning abilities, ability to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility in working to meet the deadlines, open to work evenings, weekends, and national holidays;
- Working expertise of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook is essential;
- Judgement & decision making - Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution & solve problems. Strong integrity, value-system & ethics;
