
Office Assistant

**Office Maintenance**: Peons are responsible for general office maintenance tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and ensuring the tidiness of the workspace. This includes tasks like sweeping, mopping, dusting, and arranging furniture.
- **Assisting Staff**: They may assist other staff members in their duties, which can involve tasks such as delivering documents within the office, distributing mail, making photocopies, and running errands.
- **Support Services**: Peons may be responsible for providing support during meetings, conferences, or events. This can include setting up meeting rooms, arranging chairs or equipment, and providing refreshments.
- **Handling Couriers and Deliveries**: Managing incoming and outgoing packages, sorting and distributing mail, and coordinating courier services fall under their responsibilities.
- **Maintaining Supplies**: They might be tasked with keeping inventory of office supplies and restocking them as needed. This can involve monitoring stationery, pantry items, and other office essentials.
- **Security Duties**: In some cases, peons might have basic security responsibilities such as ensuring doors are locked after hours, monitoring visitors, or alerting relevant personnel in case of any security concerns.
- **Assisting in Basic Administrative Tasks**: Occasionally, they might assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing documents, organizing files, or entering data.
- **Follow Instructions**: They must follow instructions given by their supervisors or higher-ranking personnel and carry out tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- **Maintaining Professionalism**: Peons are often the initial point of contact for visitors, so maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor is important.
