**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Oversee the daily operations of the Indian kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Indian culinary techniques, recipes, and hygiene standards.
- Monitor food quality and ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
- Manage inventory levels for Indian ingredients, spices, and supplies, and place orders as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following HACCP guidelines.
- Assist in menu planning, cost control, and budget management for the Indian kitchen section.
- Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and new ingredients to enhance menu offerings.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, cooking techniques, and traditional recipes.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to lead a team and collaborate with other chefs.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Food safety certification (e.g., HACCP) and knowledge of hygiene standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
