Key Responsibilities:
- **Teaching and Lesson Planning**:
- Teach English language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) and literature (prose, poetry, drama) to students in Classes 6 to 10.
- Develop and implement detailed lesson plans that are aligned with the curriculum and ensure the learning objectives are met.
- Create engaging and interactive lessons using a variety of teaching techniques such as discussions, group activities, multimedia presentations, and writing exercises.
- Provide opportunities for students to improve grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills through different activities and exercises.
- **Curriculum Development**:
- Plan and organize the teaching schedule according to the curriculum requirements.
- Modify and adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of different learning abilities and provide enrichment for advanced students.
- Incorporate a variety of teaching resources, including literature, online tools, and educational videos, to enhance learning experiences.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:
- Design and conduct regular assessments (quizzes, tests, assignments, oral presentations) to evaluate student understanding and progress.
- Grade assignments, essays, and projects, and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills.
- Maintain accurate records of students' performance and academic progress, sharing these with students and parents during parent-teacher meetings (PTMs).
- Prepare students for exams by focusing on exam techniques, reading comprehension, and writing proficiency.
- **Classroom Management**:
- Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Use effective classroom management strategies to ensure students are engaged and focused during lessons.
- Encourage active participation in class discussions, debates, and group activities.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to express themselves and share ideas.
- **Student Engagement and Motivation**:
- Encourage students to develop a love for reading and writing by introducing them to various forms of literature, such as novels, short stories, poetry, and drama.
- Promote critical thinking by encouraging students to analyze texts, understand themes, and connect literature to real-life issues.
- Motivate students to improve their writing skills by engaging them in creative writing activities, essays, and presentations.
- Provide additional support to students who may be struggling with language skills or academic performance.
- **Parent-Teacher Communication**:
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings (PTMs) to discuss students' progress, academic performance, and behavior.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding their child's academic development and offer suggestions for improvement.
- Keep parents informed about school events, exams, and other activities related to their child's education.
- **Extracurricular Activities**:
- Encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities related to English, such as debates, drama, speech competitions, and writing contests.
- Organize and supervise school events such as literary fests, book clubs, and inter-school competitions to enhance students' exposure to literature and language.
- Act as a mentor or guide for students involved in English-based activities outside the classroom.
- **Professional Development**:
- Stay updated with the latest developments in English literature, teaching methodologies, and educational technologies.
- Participate in workshops, seminars, and training programs to enhance teaching practices and skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share teaching strategies, resources, and ideas for improving student learning.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
