**_ SAP Basis Associate for Installation Packaging - ECS Delivery - Productization_**

To be prepared for that journey, we are searching a motivated colleague joining our team as SAP Basis associate taking over step-by-step responsibility as SAP Basis/Installation expert, supporting standardization and automation in the center of a high-scale Cloud environment.

You will interface with a highly professional, global team of experts and architects from various teams inside ECS Delivery and the development organization. With standardization and automation, our team is enabling the ECS Delivery operational units to delight our customers and deliver reliable services

With your curiosity on IT technologies and ideally some SAP fundamentals you will be a great addition to our team. Plenty of opportunities may arise to join strategic projects over the time and grow in our team.

**T**HE ROLE**

In your role as Installation Packaging Associate, you will get familiar with the latest SAP products & solutions like SAP HANA, S/4 HANA, BOBJ, Cloud Connector, ASE Databases and how to install them in different modes. The _Unattended Installation _is a core element of our_ _Provisioning process. You will define packages of software leveraging LaMa to silently deploy software.

As part of your job, you enhance the robustness of the automation and work together with the team on simplifying the package design. Following activities will be part of your role:

- Download and manually perform test installations of new software
- Package software using the framework
- Optimize automation based on operational feedback
- Structure and coordinate the activities in your ownership incl. requirements engineering, prioritization, and creating aligned timelines for deliverables
- Drive issue resolution together with the team and utilizing the expert network
- Manage relationship between different stakeholder groups inside and outside ECS Delivery
- Create and align test plans, support and perform testing/validation and roll-out activities
- Manage technology-related projects in complex environments

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**
- Affinity with IT technologies with ideally some basic SAP knowledge
- Ideally Cloud operations knowledge and software installation experience
- Practical experience in one or more scripting languages
- Confident handling and experience in Linux
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Quick learner, self-starter and motivated to dig into new technologies and topics
- Willingness to learn
