**Role Description**

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Librarian at EIMR Business School in Bengaluru. The Librarian will be responsible for managing library services, library science, metadata, library management, and library instruction on a day-to-day basis.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a librarian in Educational institutions will be preferred - minimum of 2-4 years.
- Must be in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
- Experience with digital library technologies
- Familiarity with information management systems and knowledge of library cataloging systems
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication Ability to multitask
- A patient and friendly personality
- A Bachelor’s degree in Library Science mandatory; a Master’s in Library Science or Information Management is a plus.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist patrons with finding books, making recommendations, and answering questions.
- Check books in and out, and manage the library's circulation system.
- Shelve and organize books, ensuring that they are easy to find and in good condition.
- Maintain and organize the library's periodical collection.
- Assist with programming and events, including preparing materials and setting up equipment.
- Assist with collection development by identifying and recommending books and materials for acquisition.
- Manage the library's social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts and responding to messages.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and record keeping.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
