**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Library Management**:

- Organize and maintain an updated catalog of books, digital resources, and other learning materials.
- Ensure an orderly and welcoming library environment that promotes engagement and learning.
- **Support Academic Growth**:

- Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into the school curriculum.
- Assist students and staff in locating and using library materials for projects and research.
- **Reading Promotion**:

- Plan and execute programs, activities, and events that encourage reading and literacy development.
- Recommend age-appropriate reading materials tailored to individual interests and academic needs.
- **Digital Resource Management**:

- Stay updated on educational technologies and integrate digital tools to enhance library offerings.
- Manage subscriptions to e-books, academic journals, and other online resources.
- **Communication & Collaboration**:

- Conduct interactive storytelling sessions, reading clubs, and workshops.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and faculty to understand their needs and promote library services.
- **Administration**:

- Maintain accurate records of library inventory, usage, and expenditures.
- Enforce library policies and provide orientation sessions for new users.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Experience**:

- 3-5 years of experience in a school library or educational setting.
- **Educational Background**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, or a related field.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in library management systems and digital cataloging tools.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms and resources.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with students and staff effectively.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- **Preferred Traits**:

- Passion for books and education.
- Creative and proactive in promoting literacy initiatives.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
