**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain the school library, ensuring proper cataloging and classification of books and resources.
- Assist students and teachers in locating and selecting appropriate reading and reference materials.
- Promote a reading culture among students through activities such as book talks, reading challenges, and library sessions.
- Maintain library records, issue and return systems, and inventory updates.
- Ensure a quiet, welcoming, and organized library environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to support curriculum needs through library resources.
- Stay updated with digital library trends and maintain digital resources if applicable.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Library Science (B.Lib / M.Lib) from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience working as a librarian in a school environment preferred.
- Familiarity with library management software and cataloging systems.
- Good communication skills and a passion for promoting reading among students.
- Knowledge of CBSE curriculum support materials is a plus.
