Our team is responsible for data quality across the Global Services organisation. We own all aspects of DQ and ultimate responsibility for the completeness and accuracy of all 3rd party access inventory across Global Services along with validation of supplier invoice for payments and timely payment.

The role requires the person to manage 3rd party access/voice inventory and doing invoice validation at a regional level for complete and accurate commercial inventory for one or more legal entities (GFR).
- Skills- Other skills beneficial for the role are:
- Good knowledge of BT order processes (specifically local processes that do not use order systems)
- Good knowledge of Telco products and inventory data
- Good knowledge of BT internal trading processes and rules
- Understanding of basic accounting concepts e.g., accruals, cost allocation

- Commercial and business awareness
- Financial awareness
- Commercially astute. Ability to interpret inventory and commercial data and work out the best approach/arguments to get the best resolution of each issue for BT
- Strong excel skills - ability to manipulate and manage large data volumes.

- Experience and Professional Qualifications- Graduate / Post graduate with strong analytical skills.
- 5+ years of domain experience
- Good understanding of Telecom Domain and sound Knowledge of inventory management & Analysis.
- Good Knowledge of Finance & accounting, Service delivery, Cost management & revenue assurance
- Able to work independently to resolve issues.
- Ability to work accurately to tight timeframes.
- Business experience in service/telecom industry.
- Experience in handling large sets of data in MS office tools
- Flexibility to work in shifts- What you'll be doing- Conduct monthly meetings with in countries for analysis of all BAU reports related to invoice and inventory discrepancies.
- Liaise with stakeholders to resolve issues in case of failure of records and files
- Subject Matter Expertise for the Process Domain
- Ensure all issues/ queries/ help are raised pro-actively with the lead.
- Monthly reconciliation between invoice & Inventory data of all Live, Parallel & Test countries
- Gap analysis of data received from In country whenever it is deviates with defined format or specified list of values
- Acknowledge all queries timely and resolution of discrepancies within TAT accurately and appropriately.
- Adhoc requirement are completed as per agreed & given timelines with accuracy.
- Ensure understanding of STARS
- Provide support in ensuring 100% backup planning
- Process improvement and adherence to the quality standards- What you'll be doing- Ensure that the complete cycle from timely data receipt to loading of data on STARS, RPA process, Approvals/Disputes ,Journal creation are done within time.
- Ensure delivery dates Calendar of commitment with each country are adhered to
- Resolve any issues raised by country Finance Team, Inventory teams, AP team, STARS upload team and Invoice validation teams
- Entities specific mapping documents get updated and remains up-to date
- On monthly basis, verifying and reconciling AP control list for invoices which need to be uploaded onto TEMS.
- Ensuring all live entities accounting get close before month end
- Ensuring RPA verification of all live GFRs on monthly basis
- Reconciliation of data received, processed and STARS loaded data count with proper RCA of discrepancies.
- Helping Receipt desk stream in resolving query related with invoices for upload id creation for internal work flow management system. In addition, facilitating them in profiling GFR wise paper/digital invoices.
