**Name of the Program**:
The Global Opportunity Youth Network (GOYN) is a global initiative catalysing systems shifts for youth opportunity in communities around the world through the creation of sustainable training, employment and income-earning pathways. GOYN works with “Opportunity Youth” — young people aged 15-29 who are out of school, unemployed, or working in informal jobs.

The Global Opportunity Youth Network, Pune is aimed at unlocking the economic potential for “opportunity youth” in Pune. Working on the principle of “Collective Impact”, GOYN Pune facilitates a deeper level of ecosystem collaboration and coordinated action to transform livelihood opportunities for Opportunity Youth at the city-level. With LCF as the Anchor Partner, this program is directed towards fulfilling the vision of access to dignified, productive, and sustainable livelihood for every Opportunity Youth in Bhubaneshwar.

**Position Description**:The Youth engagement Coordinator will play a critical role in the mobilization and inclusion of the youth voice in creating opportunities in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. The Youth Engagement Manager will achieve this by ensuring youth inclusion in solutions co-design; mapping of youth hubs and existing interventions that could be leveraged for systemic change. The Youth Engagement Manager will work in close coordination with the GOYN Director, Project Manager, the GOYN global team and local youth ecosystem stakeholders including government, civil society, private sector, academia, and young people. The Youth Engagement Manager will be responsible for ensuring the initiatives advance by keeping all parties organized, engaged, and moving forward.

**Expectations / Deliverables**:

- Youth Advisory Group(YAG):Ensure engagement with youth advisory group is consistent and constructive

Organize for meetings and workshops for members and other stakeholders
Facilitate co-creation workshops
Coordinate the capacity building and mentoring of YAG members.
Ensure consistent participation of Youth advisory group members
Support the YAG in strategy formulation and annual planning for the group
- Youth inclusion/MobilizationMobilize Opportunity Youths in Pune and PCMC for GOYN activities

Ensure the youth voice is inclusive in all GOYN initiatives
Promoting Opportunity Youth as drivers of change
Coordinating advocacy activities for youth inclusion
- Global Youth ConveningProvides substantive support to the GOYN global team in organizing periodic global youth convenings

Contributes substantially to the development and implementation of the global convening strategy
Facilitating engagement between GOYN global team, Anchor partners and other stakeholders
- Knowledge Management:Promote the use of collaborative tools

Help disseminate information about the organization to internal and external audiences
Plan, develop, support, and promote collaborative tools to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and external partners
Identify knowledge critical to the GOYN; looking beyond technical knowledge (‘know-how) to strategic, business-environmental, people and other knowledge categories

**Preferred Skill sets, Years of Experience, Professional Background**:

- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of three years equivalent experience in Education, Youth Affairs, Social Work, Human Services, Early Childhood Development, or a related field (preference for related experience in Pune and PCMC context);
- Three years of progressively responsible experience with demonstrated talent for forming and leading partnerships between diverse stakeholders working towards a common goal;
- Comfortable with public speaking and public presentations;
- Ability to travel regularly to local communities for meetings, trainings, and workshops;
- Understanding of community mobilization, project management, strategic planning, data gathering and analysis, communications, and/or organizational/systems dynamics.

**Technical Skills**:

- Document and presentation development; proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other valuable presentation platforms. The role involves creating a variety of engaging reports, presentations, proposals, and communication materials;
- Comfort utilizing databases and handling large volumes of data;
- Ability to examine and analyze data, research, and facts to uncover and understand cause-effect relationships, and use information as a basis for problem solving, decision making, and prioritization;
- Event, logistics, and project management involving coordination of diverse project needs and stakeholders
- Strong communication skills in Marathi and English
