**Name of the Program**:
The Global Opportunity Youth Network (GOYN) is a global initiative catalysing systems shifts for youth opportunity in communities around the world through the creation of sustainable training, employment and income-earning pathways. GOYN works with “Opportunity Youth” — young people aged 15-29 who are out of school, unemployed, or working in informal jobs.

The Global Opportunity Youth Network, Pune is aimed at unlocking the economic potential for “opportunity youth” in Pune. Working on the principle of “Collective Impact”, GOYN Pune facilitates a deeper level of ecosystem collaboration and coordinated action to transform livelihood opportunities for Opportunity Youth at the city-level. With LCF as the Anchor Partner, this program is directed towards fulfilling the vision of access to dignified, productive, and sustainable livelihood for every Opportunity Youth in Bhubaneshwar.

**Position Description**: The Collaborative Coordinator will be employed with GOYN and will play a critical role in the development and implementation of the Global Opportunity Youth Initiative collaboration work plan in Bhubaneshwar. The Coordinator will work in close coordination with the Team Lead, local youth jobs ecosystem stakeholders from government, civil society, private sector, young people, and the GOYN global team, and will be responsible for ensuring the initiative advances by keeping all parties organized and moving forward. The coordinator will be responsible for tracking youth data and providing analysis on the same to inform program design and modifications/building of pathways.

**Expectations / Deliverables**:

- Partner with the Team Lead to assemble and manage a cross-sector collaborative focused on expanding youth economic opportunity
- Coordinate successful collaborative design and planning efforts culminating in the creation of a joint, long-term GOYN plan and goal framework
- Oversee administration of grant funds (working with third party fiscal agent) that includes making recommendations, drafting scope of work and contracts for sub-grantees for governance approval
- Monitor and track results of funded initiatives through data collection, aggregation, analysis.
- Ensure all partners are aware of targets and indicators
- Help identify and coordinate research, policy, data and other needs on behalf of the collaborative
- Ensure regular communication occurs between collaborative members, initiative partners, funders, and global GOYN team members
- Continuously champion goals and maintain relationships with partners, stakeholders and community members to advance the success of the collaborative
- Establish and maintain initiative budgets, timelines and other internal systems to track and monitor initiative progress
- Coordinate local youth convenings
- Develop communications materials as the initiative evolves, potentially including summary documents, brochures, web and social media content

**Preferred Skill sets, Years of Experience, Professional Background**:

- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of three years equivalent experience in Education, Youth Affairs, Social Work, Human Services, Early Childhood Development, or a related field (preference for related experience in Pune and PCMC context);
- Three years of progressively responsible experience with demonstrated talent for forming and leading partnerships between diverse stakeholders working towards a common goal;
- Comfortable with public speaking and public presentations;
- Ability to travel regularly to local communities for meetings, trainings, and workshops;
- Understanding of community mobilization, project management, strategic planning, data gathering and analysis, communications, and/or organizational/systems dynamics
- Understanding of community organizing, project management, strategic planning, communications and/or organizational/systems dynamics
- Efficient, high-capacity self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced work environment
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Ability to quickly establish trust and rapport with professional and community stakeholders; comfort addressing politically sensitive and policy questions with tact and poise
- Demonstrated talent for forming and leading partnerships between diverse stakeholders working toward a common goal
