**- Responsible for the whole process from start to finish in making varities of chocolates.
- Leveraging the essential production skills of the trade, including tempering, dipping, moulding, decorating and sculpting
- Making individual chocolates, including truffles and those filled with fruit, caramel, coffee or liqueur, chocolate bars and chocolate confectionery
- Design and make chocolate showpieces, explore flavour combinations and devise new recipes, particularly for seasonal occasions or different events.
- Responsible for maintenance and safety aspects of the role, including cleaning and disinfecting premises, equipment and materials, and verifying the correct operation of equipment and safety devices.
- Quality control is also part of the role, requiring the chocolatier to check the conformity of raw materials and products throughout the manufacturing process, as well as weights and quantities, and the appearance of finished products.
- Ensure that the chocolate demonstration is delivered to the very highest standards and adhere to critical timings, whilst endeavouring to make each and every demonstration feel unique.
- Ensure a high level of presentation and personal hygiene at all times.
- Ensure uniform is maintained to a high standard of care and cleanliness and that uniform guidelines are adhered to at all times
**Job Expectations**:
- Artisan chocolate making, tempering, making ganaches, caramels
- Possess the ability to focus as well as a positive attitude
- Posses a desire to learn high-end artisanal chocolate-making and participate in company growth
- Previous experience in or as a chocolatier, chocolate maker, candy maker, dessert chef, or other culinary professional position.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and an above-average ability to multitask
- Clear and frequent communicator, ability to work with people of various personalities
**Minimum Qualification**: Relevant Qualification from a culinary school
**Minimum Job Experience**: 2-3 years experience in similar role
