**Job Title**:Restaurant Captain

**Experience**: 3 to 15 Years

**Job Summary**:
The Restaurant Captain oversees daily operations within the dining area, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth service flow, and a memorable dining experience for guests. This position acts as a liaison between the kitchen and service staff, supervises team members, and addresses guest needs to uphold the establishment's high standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Customer Service**:

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they are comfortable.
- Address guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
- Ensure guests receive a memorable dining experience by meeting or exceeding their expectations.

**2. Team Supervision**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of service staff, including waiters, waitresses, and bussers.
- Train new team members on service standards, menu items, and customer interaction skills.
- Assign sections and tasks to the team, ensuring an even workload and efficient service.

**3. Order Management and Communication**:

- Take orders accurately and communicate any special instructions to the kitchen.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Address any issues related to food preparation or service delays.

**4. Quality Control**:

- Conduct final checks on food presentation, temperature, and table settings.
- Ensure that hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the dining area.
- Regularly check that the service area is stocked with necessary items, such as utensils, napkins, and condiments.

**5. Inventory and Reporting**:

- Monitor inventory levels of dining room supplies and request additional items as needed.
- Assist in maintaining stock levels of food, beverages, and other essentials.
- Compile daily reports on guest feedback, inventory levels, and team performance for management review.

**6. Sales and Upselling**:

- Familiarize guests with the menu, making recommendations and upselling where possible.
- Suggest wine and drink pairings to enhance the dining experience.
- Promote special offers, events, or menu items to increase sales.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: High school diploma; hospitality or related training is a plus.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- **Skills**: Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; strong organizational abilities; knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- **Personal Qualities**: Customer-oriented, detail-focused, with a positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work shifts include weekends, holidays, and evenings, depending on the restaurant’s operating hours.
- Physical demands may include standing for extended periods and lifting or carrying trays.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
