**Job Summary**:
The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing the supply chain processes, including the transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods. The role involves planning and managing logistics, liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers, ensuring that operations are efficient, and minimizing costs. The Logistics Manager also ensures that safety and compliance standards are met while optimizing processes to improve the overall performance of the logistics function.

**Key Responsibilities**:1. Planning & Managing Logistics Operations**:

- Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Oversee and manage the entire logistics operation, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Plan the most efficient routes and ensure the timely delivery of goods to customers or distribution points.

**2. Supply Chain Management**:

- Coordinate and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, and transportation providers to ensure smooth and cost-effective logistics operations.
- Manage vendor relationships and monitor the performance of logistics partners, ensuring timely delivery and high service levels.
- Work with procurement teams to plan and execute the timely acquisition and movement of raw materials or finished goods.

**3. Inventory Management**:

- Maintain and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and the availability of products when needed.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize overstocking, shortages, and losses.
- Optimize warehouse space, improving storage efficiency and reducing handling times.

**4. Transportation & Fleet Management**:

- Coordinate the transportation of goods, including selecting appropriate carriers and negotiating transportation costs.
- Manage the company's fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are maintained and comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Track shipments, ensuring goods arrive at their destination on time and in good condition.

**5. Budgeting & Cost Control**:

- Prepare and manage the logistics department’s budget, ensuring that expenses are kept within budgetary constraints.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising the efficiency or quality of logistics operations.
- Negotiate transportation, warehousing, and supplier contracts to obtain favorable terms and reduce costs.

**6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting**:

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times, transportation costs, and inventory accuracy to assess the efficiency of logistics operations.
- Prepare reports on logistics performance and present findings to senior management, recommending improvements as needed.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.

**7. Compliance & Safety**:

- Ensure that all logistics operations comply with legal, environmental, and safety regulations.
- Implement safety protocols for the handling, transportation, and storage of goods, particularly hazardous materials.
- Ensure that all transportation and warehousing activities comply with industry standards and government regulations.

**8. Team Leadership & Coordination**:

- Lead and manage the logistics team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as production, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement.

**9. Risk Management**:

- Identify potential risks in the logistics process, such as delays, damage to goods, or supply chain disruptions.
- Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of operations in the event of unforeseen disruptions.
- Ensure that all goods are properly insured during transit and storage.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS, WMS).
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, transportation planning, and warehousing operations.
- Familiarity with customs regulations, import/export processes, and freight forwarding.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Logistics: 1 year (preferred)
