Roles & Responsibilities: - Research, identify, and evaluate suppliers for materials, furnishings, and services related to commercial and retail interior fitouts. - Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-efficiency and compliance with budget. - Ensure all procurement activities are in line with company policies and industry standards. - Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best possible pricing, quality, and lead times. - Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of materials is available for ongoing and upcoming projects. - Coordinate with suppliers to manage lead times and ensure timely delivery of materials. - Manage material returns and exchanges where necessary. - Collaborate with project managers to understand project timelines and material requirements. - Support project teams in ensuring that materials are delivered on time and in accordance with project specifications. - Provide updates on the status of procurement activities, highlighting any potential delays or issues. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, supplier contracts, and receipts. - Prepare and submit regular reports on procurement performance, supplier performance, and cost analysis. - Monitor and control procurement expenses to ensure alignment with project budgets. - Conduct cost comparisons and provide recommendations for cost savings without compromising on quality. - Ensure that all procured materials meet the company's quality standards and comply with industry regulations. - Perform regular quality checks and liaise with the quality control team to address any issues. Skills Required: - Work experience as a Purchase Assistant, PurchaseExecutiver or similar role - Good understanding of supply chain procedures - Advanced knowledge of MS Excel - Knowledge of market research Minimum Qualification: Procurement Experience In Interior Fitout Industry.
