Procurement Executive

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join our dynamic team at Hush, a leading mattress manufacturer. The Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement process for raw materials, components, and other supplies necessary for the production of high-quality mattresses. This role requires strong negotiation skills, an understanding of supply chain management, and the ability to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement to support the company’s manufacturing and production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Supplier Management**:

- Identify and source reliable suppliers for raw materials, fabrics, foam, springs, and other mattress components.
- Negotiate favorable terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers while maintaining good working relationships.
- Regularly evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery performance, ensuring that they meet the company's requirements.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure timely deliveries and high-quality standards.
- **Procurement Strategy**:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing and timely availability of materials.
- Forecast procurement needs based on production schedules and inventory levels.
- Work closely with production and operations teams to align material availability with manufacturing timelines.
- **Order Management**:

- Place and track orders for raw materials and components required for production.
- Ensure timely delivery of all ordered items, resolving any delays or supply chain issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
- **Inventory Control**:

- Collaborate with the inventory team to monitor stock levels and avoid material shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained to support production without unnecessary stock accumulation.
- Assist in periodic stocktaking and reconciliations to ensure accuracy in inventory records.
- **Cost Management**:

- Continuously seek opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in the procurement process.
- Analyze market trends and supplier pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain budgets for procurement and report on cost analysis and savings.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure that procured materials meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to resolve any issues related to material defects or discrepancies.
- **Documentation & Compliance**:

- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier communications.
- Assist in auditing supplier contracts and ensuring compliance with agreed terms.
- **Market Research**:

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the mattress manufacturing industry, including new materials, suppliers, and technologies.
- Evaluate alternative suppliers and materials to ensure the company’s competitiveness and innovation.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
