Financial Reporting:
1. Ensuring high-quality monthly management reporting, in compliance with IFRS/UK GAAP standards
- 2. Close collaboration with commercial finance team to ensure accurate, timely, and relevant reporting across client accounts
- 3. Overseeing third-party statutory audit, bank audit, and tax review processes for trading entities
- 4. Serving as the primary contact for external auditors

Financial Control:

- 1. Preparing cash/treasury forecast, managing supplier payments, and overseeing receivables factoring arrangements for sales invoicing
- 2. Reviewing foreign exchange exposures and collaborating with the group treasury team to mitigate risks
- 3. Approving monthly payroll costs and staff allocations
- 4. Managing working capital and conducting regular reviews of the balance sheet to maximize free-cash and mitigate risks as necessary
- 5. Providing accounting and control support to regional management in identifying business growth opportunities
- 6. Delivering commercial and accounting impact analysis and modelling to support significant strategic projects

Process:

- 1. Developing a comprehensive understanding of the business's operational and financial workflow and reporting systems
- 2. Working closely with stakeholders across the business to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes
- 3. Ensuring that there is a robust system of internal control and processes

Planning:

- 1. Ensuring alignment with group guidelines and collaboration with commercial and functional teams
- 2. Working on monthly forecasts and an annual budget, with a particular focus on overheads, balance sheet, and working capital assumptions

**Requirements**:

- Technical Systems:
1. Financial Modelling
- 2. Database Management System
- 3. Advance Excel(Power Query/VBA/SQL)
- 4. BI Tools (Power BI, Business Objects)

Person Specification:

- 1. Fully qualified accountant or similar qualification/experience
- 2. At least 8 years financial accounting experience
- 3. Good communication skills, articulate, with presence and a challenging style
- 4. Honest, accountable and self-driven - comfortable working under time pressure and willingness to, where necessary, adopt a sleeves rolled-up approach
- 5. Ability to demonstrate an energetic partner orientated approach
- 6. An innovative thinker with the potential to develop and grow with the business
