Job Profile: Financial Controller Repair Factory (IT Hardware Services)Position: Financial ControllerLocation: [Noida and will travel Bangalore as n When require]Reports To: CEO / CFODepartment: Finance & AccountsRole ObjectiveTo oversee the entire financial operations of the repair factory, ensuring accurate accounting, cost control, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The Financial Controller will play a key role in optimizing working capital, monitoring inventory of spare parts, and supporting decision-making for business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & ReportingPrepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).Monitor repair revenue, spare part usage, and gross margins to ensure profitability.Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis against turnover targets (80 Cr).Prepare detailed MIS reports for management with factory-wise and vendor-wise profitability.Inventory & Cost ControlOversee inventory management of spare parts (CPU, motherboards, etc.) ensuring accurate consumption records.Implement FIFO method for stock valuation and costing.Analyze repair costs vs. part replacement costs for margin improvement.Track inventory ageing and vendor-wise purchase history.Billing & ReceivablesEnsure accurate monthly billing to clients, including warranty and service contracts.Monitor receivables, credit terms, and collection efficiency.Work with sales/operations to minimize debtor days and improve cash flows.Compliance & ControlsEnsure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other statutory filings.Establish internal financial controls to prevent leakages, fraud, or misreporting.Coordinate with external auditors for statutory and tax audits.Strategic SupportProvide financial insights for pricing, procurement, and vendor negotiations.Identify opportunities for cost optimization in repairs and spare procurement.Support expansion strategies, CAPEX planning, and business growth initiatives.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and compliance.Expertise in manufacturing/repair factory costing and inventory control.Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (SAP, Tally, Oracle, etc.).Analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial data into actionable insights.Leadership skills to manage accounts & finance team effectively.Qualifications & ExperienceCA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.7–12 years of experience in manufacturing, repair, or service industry finance.Proven experience handling turnover of 50–100 Cr.Hands-on knowledge of GST, TDS, and factory-related compliances.Performance Metrics (KPI)Accuracy & timeliness of financial reports.Inventory variance (% difference between physical & system stock).Reduction in inventory ageing >180 days.Receivable days (DSO) and collection efficiency.Cost savings achieved through vendor negotiations.Audit compliance with zero major observations.
