Production Support

Hands on experience supporting the following technologies:
UNIX shell scripting LINUX preferred
Database concepts preferably Oracle & SQL scripting, troubleshooting DB related issues
Experience working with enterprise messaging products preferably MQ Series, Kafka
Experience using Scheduling tools preferably Control M.

Nice to have
Basic understanding of cloud services like, preferred AWS, MS Azure
Understanding of the Investment Management industry.
Basic understanding of shell scripting & Python

About you
MSc BE BTech MCA or equivalent degree from a reputable university
Proven experience and domain knowledge in a middle office back-office type environment along with the systems that support this area of the business
Hands-on experience supporting the following technologies:
UNIX shell scripting AIX, LINUX preferred Python
Database concepts preferably Oracle and SQL scripting
Well versed with database SQL queries. Should be able to write medium to complex SQL queries
Must have used OR aware of Enterprise messaging products preferably MQ Series
Experience and well versed with Scheduling tools Control M knowledge will be preferred.
Able to prioritize work. Good at time management skills.
Quick responsive behaviour and calm approach under pressure
Able to work on own initiative with mínimal direction and act with due diligence
Operates largely independently, with some guidance on complex or difficult issues
Exposure to AWS, ELK and iSeries/AS400 will be preferred.

Mandatory skills:
UNIX shell scripting (AIX, LINUX preferred) / Python
Database concepts (preferably Oracle) & SQL scripting
Well versed with database SQL queries. Should be able to write medium to complex SQL queries
