Job Title: Transport Coordinator

Location: Mira Road, Mumbai.

As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled Transport Coordinator to join our logistics team and ensure efficient transportation operations.

**Job Description**:
As a Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of transportation and logistics to support our retail operations. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, external vendors, and carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods while optimizing costs and maintaining high service levels.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate transportation activities, including scheduling, dispatching, and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and warehouses to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and shipments.
- Negotiate freight rates and contracts with carriers to optimize transportation costs.
- Monitor and analyze transportation costs, performance metrics, and efficiency of logistics operations.
- Resolve transportation issues, such as delays or damages, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, invoices, and documentation.
- Collaborate with inventory management and procurement teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transportation processes and efficiency.
- Experience in handling blue-collar manpower.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience 2 years in transportation coordination or logistics within the retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, carriers, and freight management.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
