Platform Owner

Salesforce Platform Owner owns and manages Salesforce platform to enable technical capabilities for business value creation and daily IT services. S/he drives effective, efficient and secure development, operations and life-cycle management of the platform. S/he is accountable to build and maintain the platform strategy and roadmap based on demands prioritized with stakeholders. Platform Owner works in close collaboration with platform team and stakeholders such as Solution Owners, Service Owners and the Digital CoEs

**Responsibilities**:
Owns platforms operating model and governance. Defines and communicates processes and governance structures, further develop them when needed. Ensures the alignment with KONE Operating model.
- Manages platform team (incl. dotted line, partners) and ensures alignment with operating model and agreed ways of working (tools, practices etc.).
- Manages the financials of the platform (forecast, budget, actuals etc.). Ensures effective license and other cost management in line with agreed budget frames and timelines.
- Manages supplier(s) (including contract management) and governance for platform supplier(s) together with platform team.
- Owns the platform vision, strategy, and roadmap. Manages platform demand prioritization, balancing the demand between the business and solution needs and platform enhancement, maintenance, security, and compliance needs, to ensure the operational continuity and sustainability.
- Manages the development of the platform according to the roadmap.
- Owns the platform technical guidelines and ensures the best practices are set and followed, to ensure the integrity and maintainability of the solutions and the platform, and the alignment with security and compliance requirements.
- Plans, coordinates and communicates towards stakeholders of platform change and release management.
- Acts as single point of contact for KONE projects which interact with the platform, be part of relevant technical project steering groups. Ensure the projects are receiving the needed technical guidance and consultancy regarding the best practices and technical solutions.
- Manages the operations of the platform including process compliance (e.g., SLA compliance) and enhancements together with Service Owner. Participate when needed in Major Incident management.

Accountabilities:

- Enterprise platform demand backlog is up-to-date, prioritized and visible.
- Is accountable for the platform performance and quality according to the agreed KPIs and service levels.
- Enterprise platform vision and roadmap is up to date and based on business and technology needs, aligned with Enterprise IT strategy.
- Is accountable for the platform lifecycle management including platform retirement.
- Total cost of ownership of the Enterprise platform is managed according to expectations.
- Governance model for own Enterprise platform and team, including processes, tools and quality practices, are effective and in alignment with Enterprise IT operating model.
- Technical architecture of the Enterprise platform is compliant with quality, safety, (cyber) security and legal requirements

**Skills**:

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in relevant field, i.e. IT science/ engineering.
- 10+ years of prior experience in managing and/or developing IT solutions, preferably on the relevant technology area.
- Demonstrated experience of working in global context.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience in project work and project management methodologies.IT process knowledge (e.g. ITIL).
