**Responsibilities**:
**Industry Engagement**:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with life sciences companies, research organisations, and other relevant industry partners.
- Identify new placement opportunities and industry trends to align with the skills and aspirations of our students.
- Organise campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and industry interaction sessions.

**Student Preparation**:

- Conduct workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance students' employ ability skills, including resume writing, interview techniques, and communication skills.
- Provide career counselings and guidance to students regarding job opportunities and career paths in biotechnology and microbiology.
- Facilitate internships and co-op programs to provide students with practical industry experience.

**Placement Process and Data Management**:

- Coordinate the entire placement process, including pre-placement talks, interviews, and follow-ups with companies.
- Ensure smooth logistics and scheduling for recruitment activities on campus or off campus.
- Maintain accurate records of student placements, employer feedback, and placement statistics, database of employers, placement records, and student profiles.
- Generate regular reports on placement activities, success rates, and areas for improvement.
- Analyse placement data to identify trends and inform strategic planning.
