**Task Description/Responsibility**
- Attend 'Start up talks' with the Chief Cook and receive instructions, feedback and discuss operational requirement, achievements and improvement.
- Assist in receiving kitchen supplies from the stores as per the approved requisition.
- Check supplies from stores for quality, quantity, damages and spoilages and inform Chief Cook accordingly.
- Check that all tools and equipment’s in kitchen are in working order and report any malfunctioning or maintenance requirement to Chief Cook.
- Check all the machines and equipment in the Kitchen area carry operating instruction. Inform abnormality to the Chief Cook.
- Monitor temperatures of chiller and freezer units in the kitchen area and inform abnormality to the Chief Cook.
- Prepare Mis-en-Place as instructed by the Chief Cook using right methods, tools and equipment’s.
- Wash, chop and cut meat and vegetables and other raw food items as instructed by the Chief Cook.
- Assist Chief Cook at various stages of food preparation and service.
- Follow the principle 'Clean as you go' during service hours.
- Assist in daily, weekly and monthly cleaning of Kitchen tools, equipment and storage units in line with the kitchen cleaning schedule.
- Assist in setting counter for service in coordination with other responsible personnel.
- Assist Chief Cook during service hours.
- Report any HSE violations observed in the kitchen to the Chief Cook.
- Attend QHSE tool box meeting / workshops to enhance and promote QHSE practices.
- Report all incidents/ accidents, fire, near miss, FAC, loss and damage to the Chief Cook / HSE advisor immediately.
- Ensure correct usage and maintenance of PPE in the Kitchen and service area.
- Attend HEMP training organized by Supervisor / HSE Advisor on job related hazards.
- Maintain personal and work place hygiene as per the required standard. Cooperate with superior in the random checking of hygiene standards.
- Observe the various CCP's throughout the kitchen and report any non-compliance or deviance from the system requirements to Chief Cook.
- Ensure ISO 22000 Food Safety System, Maintain all related documents and records.
**FYI THIS REQUIREMENT IS FOR KUWAIT**
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
